Mikey Ricks

A filmmaker, director, and creative entrepreneur based in New Orleans, Louisiana. With a background spanning commercial production, documentary filmmaking, photography, and brand storytelling, he has helped create content for global brands, local businesses, and community-driven organizations alike. His work blends cinematic visuals with authentic human stories, focusing on creating films that feel both elevated and relatable. As a co-founder of Studio 50, Mikey leads creative direction, production, and post-production, helping clients bring ideas to life from concept to final delivery.
Tyler Galpin
Director | Producer | Founder
With over 19 years of experience and more than 100 film and television credits, Tyler brings a wealth of production expertise to Studio 50. A second-generation Stunt Coordinator, DGA 2nd Unit Director, and member of the Stuntmen’s Association of Motion Pictures, he has spent nearly two decades helping execute large-scale productions at the highest level. His deep understanding of filmmaking, production management, and on-set operations allows Studio 50 to approach every project with the discipline and standards of major motion picture productions.
